Civic Education Guide

The revised Sauti Yetu Civic Education/Constitutional Curriculum guide has been developed to conform to the growing demand to strengthen the capacity of citizens to actively participate in decision making in all levels of governance on governance issues. This guide is thus a resource guide designed to provide individuals, community groups as well as organizations working with these grass root groups that seeks to inspire and motivate individuals with skills and knowledge on how to organize, mobilize, participate and hold their governments accountable. The guide can also be used by duty bearers to understand their roles and responsibilities in executing their mandate. The guide focuses on how citizens, organized citizen groups, and civil society organizations can work together to enable wider communities to engage meaningfully in holding Government accountable for its commitments and service delivery.
